I am a writer. I am a musicaholic. I am an ailurophile (yes, I had to look that up). But most of all, I am a Child of the King.
Jones is (clearly) a pseudonym.
My pic, okay?
I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, climbing trees (I don't care that I'm nineteen, I can still climb a tree if I like).
Literature is a great passion of mine. I read constantly. One of my blogs is entirely devoted to literature of all sorts (this includes music and movie quotes). But my greatest secular passion, as any of my bookish friends could tell you, is, I'm afraid, The Count of Monte Cristo.
My best friends, you could say, are Jack Frost, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, and Alex. And of course there's all those literary folks who exist only in my own imagination and writing (Alex being one of them).
I've also become recently and hopelessly obsessed with this enthralling show called Once Upon a Time, and the pirate called Hook (though not because he's "hot," which seems to be most of the world's reason).
I shall never grow up. Adults who grow up tend to be boring.

--President Calvin Coolidge, July 5, 1926
May we be likewise today.
If We Can Keep It

Franklin immediately responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."

"If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."
--Ronald Reagan
The Propitious Smiles of Heaven
"The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained..."
--George Washington, in his Inaugural Address
The One Unchangeable Certainty
"Every area of trouble gives out a ray of hope; and the one unchangeable certainty is that nothing is certain or unchangeable."

The Two Enemies of the People

You Are Americans
"Look around you; you're not alone. You are Americans. You have the same steel spine and the moral courage of Washington and Lincoln and Martin Luther King. It is in you; it will sustain you, as it sustained them."
--Sarah Palin, in her 8.28 speech
How to Properly Dispose of an American Flag
Title 4, Chapter 1, § 8, (k) of the United States Code
" The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning."
I may not completely agree with everything that is said in this article, but this is still a good read for those women and girls who would like some help in deciding whether something is modest or not.
